"Solomon's
Requiem" is an Alberto Martinez Production. It's a Zombie film
being shot in and around New York. SpatCave was hired to do costumes,
props and special effects make-up for the film.

The
next day we were shooting another Zombie scene, but the girl who was
to play the Zombie couldn't make it. So we had to use someone... So
we drafted Alex... again!
The
make-up application process.
And
two hours later, he was ready to go.
Alex
and I ready to shoot.
Now
we have to work on his severed head. Of course, this head was made to
accomodate a girl, so we had to make some last minute adjustments.
And
finally, it's done.

That's
right, I got drafted to be camera man for most of the night! And damn
is that camera heavy!

getting the make-up off.
Then
came the day we needed to shoot scenes of Athena crawling out of the
ground. We made a rigged box to simulate the ground and had Athena laying
below it ready to crawl out on cue.
Here

of course, Athena hsd to get back into make-up...
