Needed:
Sandpaper
(light grit)
Matte

Here's
the kit when it arrives to you. Includes Welder Body, Welder Tip,
Welder Screen Holder and Welder Screen. |

Wash
all parts in warm, soapy water and allow to air dry. |
|
Sand
the resin parts lightly to get rid of any mold or seam lines. Fill
any air bubbles with some putty (optional). |

Screw
the welder tip onto the body. You can use a few drops of glue if
you'd like. |

Align
the welder screen holder in between the posts and drill holes for
the screws. |

Prime
the kit. Be sure to paint ONLY in a well ventilated area. Allow
paint to thoroughly dry. |
|
Paint
the kit OD Green. Be sure to paint ONLY in a well ventilated area.
Allow paint to thoroughly dry. Also, the Welder in the film looks
black on screen, but the original was actually painted Brown Bess
(which looks OD Green on screen). So you could paint the kit OD,
Black, or Brown Bess if you'd like. |

Paint
the kit with a Clear Top Coat to seal in the paint. Be sure to paint
ONLY in a well ventilated area. Allow paint to thoroughly dry. |

Peel
the paper covering off the Welder screen and glue it in place in
the Screen Holder. Keep in mind that some glues can fog the acrylic
(CA Glue, Crazy Glue, etc). Hobby White glue is made to glue clear
parts on model kits. It takes a while to dry, but it won't react
with clear parts. |

Place
the screen holder in place and screw the 2 screws in to hold it
there. The screen should move forward and back, but not too easily.
I aligned the notch to the front. |

Feel
free to dirty or weather the kit as you like, otherwise, you're
all done! |

piece for every Aliens fan!
